Yaaaayyyy! I finished the Christmas shopping :cheer: Only the food shop to go now, although I've got the booze and the turkey so the important things are sorted :D

I gave by brother a lift to work this morning and he was singing along to WAI, and he really loved the Princes Trust version and asked me for the MP3. He also said he loves Home :o

 

I'm really pleased because he loved the Friday's Child album, but was put off getting Keep On because he didn't like SIO. I don't know where he's heard Home though, cos I never let him in my car. He's only just come back home to live, and I'm hardly home, so he's not heard it blaring around the house :lol: I only gave him a lift cos he helped me with my PC :blush:

Ok, I can contain it no longer... I MET WILL YOUNG!! Yesssss mate, it is true. So here's the story... Jon Fiona and i are taking a trip to Portobello Road for some top retail therapy. It's about 2.30 and we arrive at Notting Hill and park up on a bridge towards the end of Portobello Road. Jon goes off to check the parking meter, Fiona rummages in the back of the car and I stand by the boot. Jon comes back and announces the parking is free. Small celebrations commence and Jon and Fion ahead off in the direction of the market. For some reason, I am hesitant to move and I turn around to see who's behind me. About 5 meters away walk two men, one short one tall. The latter was instantly recognisable but I'm frozen. Something in me takes over and I walk towards the men and say in a crystal clear and confident voice, "Will, can I please have your autograph?" "Sure" he responds in that voice that is oh so familiar to me "do you have a pen and paper?" I rummage in my bag to find a biro and an old Fopp receipt. "who am I making it out to?" he asks, every letter pronounced and the tone soft. "Becky" I reply, I'm not yet used to calling myself Rebecca. I tell him how I saw him in Cardiff and he seemed genuinely interested and pleased. I asked if I could have a picture which he ever so pleasantly declinded. I didn't mind though. He was just so stunning up close. Perfect in every possible way. As I rejoin Jon and Fiona, Will compliments Jon on his huge furry coat and seems transfixed by it for a while. I may be making out like this is the greatest moment on Earth but you have no idea how happy it made me. Imagine your idol, we all have them. Now imagine meeting them in the flesh and talking to them. Smelling them. Getting them to write you a note. See?! My life is so much nearer being complete now!
