Temh on D just said the REX staff said that he read each and every one of his letters and cards and were amazed that he did. I'm not and I dare anyone to accuse him of not caring. :arrr: Maybe they even comforted him a little knowing what happened whilst he was there. :cry:

Looking more & more likely from talk on WOS, that the part of Fiyero in Wicked has gone to the present understudy, Olly Thompsett

 

I'm sorry if anyone here wanted to see Will in that role, but personally, as much as I don't mind him doing a musical, I just didn't fancy that one somehow.

Same as me Marguerite, once I found out about the length of time he would be on stage and singing, it just didn't seem right for Will, or worth me forking out a lot of money for travel, tickets etc.

I woulnd't have gone to see it, Will or no Will :blink: I think I read the tickets were very expensive weren't they?

 

That's why I never went to see Will in things like CDUK and TOTP. Just coudln't justify the expense of train, hotel and everything just for one song :(

 

Mind you, I think I would pay a fortune just to hear him burp at the mo :cry: Miss him :cry:

Have had a look at all the Pop Idol videos from Final 50 to Final 5. My husband has been away since Tuesday and is back soon so I have indulged myself. :lol:

Seems we're all in agreement re Wicked. Although I'm desperate to see him again this would have been a very expensive trip to see him on stage for such a short while.

 

I do hope there is a more meatier part in the pipeline so he can build on his experience gained in the Vortex. A film would be great as it wouldn't interfere too much with writing the album as long as they've learnt the mistake about promoting them together.

I too have been watching my rather worn vids for the final 9 weeks, and re-living it all again. He is as Foxy said "pure class", even in the tattiest of clothes. His vocal ability, clarity of tone is sublime. I know I'm talking to the converted, but looking at these vids just confirmed what I always thought - he was (and still is) the best.

 

Always thought it was only a rumour about Wicked - so glad I was right. ^_^

I watched the Pop Idol Extra bit when Will cried. :( I hadn't seen that before. He was so upset when Hayley went. Little sweetie.

Another one whose pleased Wicked looks to be out of the equation Although some are hoping he may take over the role in October :angry: I do hope not!
