U2 bassist splits with fiancée

U2 bassist Adam Clayton has split with his partner of eight years.

Clayton and fiancée Suzanne Smith had been engaged for just over a year, and have separated in what is described as an "amicable split".

Smith, who used to be assistant to U2 manager Paul McGuinness, is a record executive based in London.

It is the second time Clayton has split with a fiancée, having previously ended a relationship with model Naomi Campbell.

Do you care about the band members personal lives or not?

It's a shame it didnt work out. But, to answer your question at the end, i don't particularly care about the band members personal lives, or any other members of other band or solo artists, especially ones that are thrown in our face, which luckily U2 seem to have avoided in the main.

What a shame :(

Apperently he is getting over it by working really hard on the new album, which loads of papers say it out at the end of the year. :D
