March 6, 200718 yr Is that good? The American charts are like a minefield for me, I have no idea where to start
March 6, 200718 yr Here's the Quick Cut info link: http://www.mmr247.com/mmrweb/Reports/Reg/E...8&NumDays=7 Basically, everytime a song is played on a station it counts as a spin. Depending on when and where the song is played, it will get a certain amount of Audience Impressions or AIs, which is what the Hot 100 is based on. This could end up on the Hot 100 this week :D
March 6, 200718 yr It's officially going for adds today, but was already the most added yesterday with 19 new stations. We'll found out how many added it today, tmorrow at around lunch time. It is doing very well on the charts. But songs that rise really quick often fall quick or stall around 15...which is what I reckon might be the case with this song. The song will no doubt go to #1 though on the Hot 100 because the downloads will be crazy whatever. There's a legion of Beyoncé fans that will download this, and a troop of Shakira fans which'll do the same, plus all the non fans that are gonna buy the song.
March 6, 200718 yr Aaah, so it could be charting soon? As soon as it hits the Hot 100 I'll understand how well it's doing!

Well, you can't depend on all the so-called Shakira fans  who don't support her on this venture. But why do you think it will stall around 15?
March 6, 200718 yr I reckon it could stall around 10 really... It could go either way, either this will shoot to #1 on pop or it will stall. I dunno yet. I'm unsure because the quality of the song isn't brilliant and it isn't very catchy...but there's something very likeable about it because it's Shakira and Beyoncé.

March 7, 200718 yr It's not catchy like "I'm on tonight!" or "Whenever! Wherever!" or "to the left to the left..." I suppose the "Beyoncé Beyoncé Shakira Shakira" bit is a bit of a hook though :D The song will do it's job - it needs to be a quick hit to make sure the rerelease sells well...that's all.
March 7, 200718 yr Author Well andre, it is doing very well seeing it took HDL 2 weeks of airplay to get to #47 and it has taken 3ish days for beautiful liar to get to #47 on pop.. so very well
March 8, 200718 yr Dunno...hopefully not for a while. It's #2 now on TRL. Just 1% away from beating Candyfag.
March 8, 200718 yr <_< Meany. Candyman is  BTW, have you seen the MEAN comments people put on the video. It's like today's was: "I didn't think that these two words would be in a song. Pretty random... and pretty awful." :puke2: Edited March 8, 200718 yr by John Esteban
March 8, 200718 yr lol, I like Candyman :P There's so much rivalry between Christina fans and every other female artist though  If you read the topics on Pulse, it's just full of arguments between trolls...
March 8, 200718 yr Candyman is vile if i'm honest. Back To Basics is a total let down. I agree with the christina fans though, they are way to defensive -_-

It's quite dissapointing how much it's sold, compared to her previous ones. <_< IMO, it's a good album. ^_^ Candyman is vile if i'm honest. Back To Basics is a total let down. March 8, 200718 yr Candyman is vile if i'm honest. Back To Basics is a total let down. I agree with the christina fans though, they are way to defensive -_- I posted this on Pulse, regarding B2B price: In the UK B2B is the same price as a regular album. And this was the repl I got: In the U.K but NOT in the US...and that's what we're talking about here...First read, then post ur opinion kthanks. I wonder how great is shakira doing with her FLOP song Illegal...
