It's rumoured that their fourth release off "Sam's Town" will be "For Reasons Unknown". People have heard about this on radio stations in the UK, but no official statement has been released. What do you think?

It'd be a very smart choice for a single, in my opinion. A great song, very commercial for a single release and, although it won't do better than Top 20 on the UK charts, I know it'll be great promo for the album.

I thought it was going to be Uncle Johnny? :unsure: Saying that though UJ hasn't being confirmed as single #4, and Zane Lowe has been known to get wrong information about future singles in the past. :lol:

 

I dunno about this being released as a single. Personally I find it a very forgetful song, so yeah from my point of view I don't think it would be a great single. :lol:

Yeah, that was what people at The Killers Communitá were mentioning, that they heard about it on Mercury FM.

This'll probably be a summer release, well that's what I think anyways.

in Brandon's interview in NME last week (i'll post more about this later) he says that there's 2 more singles left of Sam#s Town, so UJ could still be released..

yep, i agree, Sam's Town ( :wub: ) would be better for album promo i think ..

i agree sams town would be a great choice and good for album sales also

I know it's not commercial, but "My List" would be a great single finale!

Five singles!!! :o That suprises me a bit tbh. :lol: There's enough material and potential singles to be able to release five singles, but I don't think there's really any point. But the time you get round to releasing the 5th single, just about everyone who wants the album will have it, so well from my point of view i'd much rather they get started on the new album. :P

Good song, slightly more chart-friendly than the likes of 'This River is Wild' and 'Why Do I Keep Counting?' which are also great songs imo.
