Certainly many of the young Hollywood starlets could use country music superstar Keith Urban as a role model to get treatment and use rehabilitation as a necessary tool to get one's life back on track and continue a career and rekindle a successful marriage and begin to live life to its fullest. Britney Spears is reportedly using a bit of Keith to get through what sounds like her tough times as she tries to get her life back on track.

Britney Spears Using Keith Urban as Her Idol to Get Through Rehab

While she hasn't yet adopted the Urban model of staying in rehab until the treatment works (Keith was in for over three months) Britney is using his music and his fortitude to help her through the tough times reports syndicated entertainment TV show 'Extra.'

The report claims that OK magazine's Editorial Manager Katie Caperton details that while Brit has shut out her mom and dad, she is drawing support from two other stars that have been through similar struggles: Brooke Shields and Keith Urban.

"Britney has looked to Keith Urban as a new idol not just in terms of music but in terms of someone who can help her through rehab,†Caperton told the syndicated show. She is also reportedly reading Brooke's postpartum book. She is going to need support as according to the report word is that the posh Promises rehab center believes Spears is suffering from post-partum depression.

"They're trying to get her to take anti depressants…but Britney's being resistant to this,†revealed Caperton. "They've also encouraged her to go to family therapy, but Britney does not want to see her mother and father at this time."
