British pop star SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR turned down the chance to appear in the now infamous KYLIE MINOGUE Agent Provocateur advert, because she thought it was pornographic. The Australian singer sat on a bucking horse dressed in underwear and appeared to fake an orgasm in the risque ad for the British lingerie firm in 2002. But Ellis-Bextor insists she has no regrets about snubbing the ad, because she has horrified when she read the 'script'. She says, "The whole point of that ad was to give blokes an erection. "I thought if some girl was on TV insinuating that she's done that to my boyfriend, I wouldn't like it."

Great to see she has strong morals no matter how much promotion/money this would have gave her. I think she's better looking than Kylie anyway, and a better artist... although I know a lot would disagree.
I strongly disagree

I know a lot of people would, just I think Sophie is better

its all down to opinion which is ok but for me kylie is miles miles ahead of sophie in everything

Do you think Kylie is better looking?

I really like them both i couldnt decide
kylie and sophie arent even in the same league for me,been honest i cannot see sophie lasting the test of time at all, catch you for a comeback didnt do that great and i cannot see the third album doing as well as her first if anything it will perform like her 2nd album
I haven't seen the advert either -_- but im glad to see she sticks to her morals.

That is skanky :puke:

Makes me loose alll respect for a singer when they have to resort to such slutty acts.

Good on the Bextor for refusing.

Here here.

 Funny advert, but I agree with Graham - that's extremely sexual and I can imagine there was an outrage at the time that a "pop princess" was doing that!

I don't think it was all that long ago if Sophie was offered it becuase she's only been out for a few years (2001 I think) and I don't remember any uproar about this advert... I was only 11/12 tho :P
