Adrian Curry on Britney Spears

Yes, our Britney has decided to shave it all off. After spending an entire DAY in rehab, Spears then shaved her head at a salon.

What's my take on this? First off, is there anyone who really loves this girl? Who is spending everyday trying to help her? Who is pushing her to become what she was always destined to be? She (in my mind at least) was never meant to become a raging alcoholic/addict/circus sideshow. She seems to have a really good heart. This business is BRUTAL....it is easy to fall into a funk. It will eat you up and spit you out. She needs to get her strangth back, and she needs to surround herself with people who actually give a f*** about her. Britney, if you ever read this...I would LOVE to just talk with you.....FAR away from any nightclub or celebrity hot spot. You need a break...and a decent person to help you out.

As for her shaved head...she has dyed her hair soo many times...and put sooo many extensions in it..it was just about falling out before. You could tell by all the short, torn off hair at the top of her head. Maybe her hair was soo damaged that it was time to just get rid of it...Maybe this is a symbol of a rebirth. Perhaps she wants to get her life in check and start anew.

Regardless, I wish her the best. One day in rehab is a joke though. Seriously, a joke...Even Lindsay Lohan has proved that a few weeks doesn't matter either....Lindsay was out clubbing WHILE in rehab. (the rehab Lindsay checked into was more like a spa then a treatment center!)These celebrities are people too. If you ask me, they have some p*** poor friends around them that only care about parties and free stuff....not the well being of their friends.

Britney, as a Mother, needs to have people help her step up and take charge of her life. Going to a party once a week isn't bad...but going all the time...with children at home...that just isn't good. People like her, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton...etc, etc may not have ASKED to be role models...but they ARE. They all need to step up, care about themselves and others enough to say "That's it!". I am soo tired of hearing little girls tell me that Lindsay and them are their role models. 300 million peope live in the usa. About 1,000...maybe a little more...are actually KNOWN celebrities in some way. It is a honor to be on that list...and with it, comes great responsibility. I hope that Anna Nicole's recent death will knock some sense into these girls. They are worth more then the T&A they show all over town. I think they all have the potential to become great people that you can actually look up to. You dont have to be a lame ass that never has a good time. You can still party here and there...but come on people...this is ridiculous!
