1. A Hidden Symbol on the Cover of Oral Fixation Vo.1 Exposed

 

I was having lunch with a friend at UCLA who’s major is theology (the study of religion). He is a huge fan of Shakira and noticed something about the cover of Fijacion Oral v. 1 or Oral Fixation v.1. Shakira and the baby in her lap make a symbol in the middle…and that symbol is a triangle. Take a look at the cover for your self…DO YOU NOTICE A TRIANGLE. REMEMBER THIS…Shakira herself has mentioned how every angel was to it’s detail and was “intentional.â€

 

But then use oral fixation vo.2 as a reference to Vo.1 what is the connection

2. The meaning of this Triangle.

 

After starting a little research on religious symbolic symbols…it didn’t take long to realize that the triangle is a major religious symbol..

 

“The triangle has various meanings and is often referred to as the chalice. It is a symbol of water (as it flows), the grace of heaven, and the womb. It is an ancient female divinity, as a representation of the genitalia and of the female goddess.

 

Notice the baby…now does it make sense why Shakira chose a baby to makeup a trangle. Shakira is full of symbolic meanings.

I think they got it wrong though because the chalice is a "V" shape, rather than the other way round. Still interesting to read though ;)

:D she said it was inspired by some pictures from the renaissance, I don't think it was from that but like Ashley said it is pretty interesting to read. ;)

So the triangle in the FO1 cover would be representing masculinity.

Well, yes, if anyone's has read da Vinci Code, :wub:, Ashley's right.

 

The V represents the woman, the womb, the chalice.

 

The ^ represents the male, the pen*s.

 

Put them together you have the holy alliance between male and female. :lol: I'm way into that book. I've read it... :thinking: so many times now. :lol:

I love Da Vinci Code too :D That's how I knew about the V and ^ :lol:

I can't wait for The Solomon Key. He researched a LOT, years. If it's not released this year... :angry: -_-

I know...Dan Brown books are some of the few books that I can actually read. I can never usually get into books but his grip me from page 1..except maybe Digital Fortress. My fave Dan Brown book though is Deception Point. Completely ridiculous but that's what I love about it :D
