Posted March 10, 200718 yr Hmm i wonder where take that are on the list of the biggest selling boyband in the uk?? i know that boyzone & westlife have sold alot and maybe 5ive & East 17 also. I hope Take Tjhat overtakes westlife & boyzone 1 day for the biggest selling boyband in the uk.
March 10, 200718 yr From UKMIX from the end of 2006 only. SINGLES: 1. Boyzone: 6,435,711 3. Westlife 5403000 2. Take That: 4,666,000 ALBUMS: 1. Westlife - 9.271m 2. Take That - 6.785m 3. Boyzone - 4.285m So now, obviously Boyzone's sales have'nt changed so far, Westlife have'nt sold alot of albums this year, only around 80k of their covers album and GH. TT have sold 209K of BW and around 50K of NF. So almost 260,000 sold this year. So the albums now looks like this. ALBUMS: 1. Westlife - 9.350m 2. Take That - 7.045m 3. Boyzone - 4.285m Singles wise, TT have sold nearly 168K of Patience and Shine this year, not sure about Westlife but it would'nt be very much as they did'nt release anything. Obviously Boyzone stays the same. SINGLES: 1. Boyzone: 6,435,711 3. Westlife 5403000 2. Take That: 4,833.355 TOTAL SINGLES + ALBUMS 1. Westlife: 14.753.000 2. Take That: 11.878.355 3. Boyzone: 10.720.711
March 10, 200718 yr When Shine finishes selling and Reach out is released TT will eaily pass 5M singles sales. If they release another album, then they could easily overtake Westlife's in singles. Album wise, they are a bit behind, but obviously they have only had 4 studio albums compared to Westlife with twice as much. :rolleyes: I do not know about 5ive's sales I'm afriad.

They may get close to 4.9 with shine but If reach out going to be released, but i think they may cancell the release of reach out cause it won't reach no.1 and they want to continue their No.1 run. so if it's gonna be released i doubt it will sell over 100.000. So don't think they will pass 5 millions easily and don't think westife will stop releasing singles... they are gonna release a few more with their next album.
March 10, 200718 yr Please, TT are hardly going to cancel 'Reach out' because it might not go to #1. :rolleyes: There is only one act so truely pathetic and obsessed with #1's who would do such a sad thing -- Westlife. -_- Louis Walsh just basically goes through a list of old hit ballads, and picks some he thinks will be #1. Then pestlife record them and they're deluded fans go out in their droves to buy into the whole scam. It is beyond pathetic. TT actually WRITE their own material, and I highly doubt they seriously base their carear around wether they are going to be #1. They know, just like most other people that they are FAR superior to karaoke cover acts like Westlife. :rolleyes: TT are on 4,833.355. Shine is #1, and will contine selling well for a few weeks, so between 850-900k with Shine along, possibly more. Then Reach out, and the 4th single will easily take them over 5M. -_-

It is just a list of best selling acts based on official end of year sales. March 10, 200718 yr when are they gonna release a new album? I asked a question first <_< I don't know if they are releasing a new album. They have a big tour coming up. It is not to write a whole album. Not everyone does cover after cover. :P
March 10, 200718 yr I ask you to see weather are they gonna release more singles from this album.. we will see. Probably they will release a new album later this year or in early 2008.
