You are more than welcome to your opinion however, to say he’s not a musician is not an actual opinion at all. It is just an unbelievably ignorant remark from someone who is either ill-informed or holds some sort of a grudge and wants to put him down. Of course he is a musician, he has written the music to loads of his songs, especially on his last two albums. He wrote a huge chunk of the music on IC. ‘Tripping’ for example was written by him on the base. On Escapology in 2002 he wrote two tracks alone, one of which was so good it was going to be a single in the US. Also he wrote most of ‘Come Undone’, which is in my opinion up there with ‘Angels’ & ‘Feel’. His latest song-writing partner Stephen Duffy even said he was surprised how talented of a writer Robbie was. He obviously like youself, just thought he wrote the lyrics. He is one of the few pop stars these days who actually does write his own songs. Obviously lyrics and the melody of the tracks have always been his strongest point but just because he does’nt play an instrument every time he performs live does not mean he can’t. Look at Michael Jackson for example, Robbie throughout his 11 year career has probably played instruments live more than MJ, does it mean MJ can’t? Cerainly not as he wrote the majority of the music to his tracks as well, but obviously did’nt want to live. He, like Robbie was an amazing entertainer, and for me personally I would rather that type of performance then one sitting still playing a guitar or piano. I have enjoyed performances where he has played the guitar but he seems to find it very hard to sit still or just stand behind a mike stand and thank the lord for that. Can you imagine him in Westlife just sitting on a stool. LOL.

Btw, there is a good interview with the lads here if anyone hasn’t seen it. You can watch the video as well. http://www.news.com.au/sundaymail/story/0,...5003421,00.html

Scotty - don't bite my head off. I don't hold a grudge against RW I just don't like him. And you're probably right in that my dislike of him as a person - colours my view of his music to a certain degree. And its nothing to do with Take That (I've read Gaz's book and I know that they've made up - if anyone in TT seems to be upbeat about RW its GB). But when RW was in Take That he did always seem to be trying to hog the limelight and mug for the camera in any filming or interview. A bit like Steve McQueen doing little things on the Magnificent Seven to prise the attention away from Yul Brynner and the other five (I like that analogy). I think he knew all along he was going to be a solo artist and he saw TT all along as a stepping stone to his future career. Good luck to him - together with his huge self-confidence it worked. But I don't think he was ever a team player - it just doesn't sit right with thim. I think he is better solo and they are better as a foursome as long as they're still friends outside. He is a good, all-round entertainer, but even if he was as good as Sinatra - his arrogance (and I know that his arrogance is just more one reason why so many of his fans love him) would put me off for life!

By the way - its not just RW - I feel the same way about Bono, Phil Collins and Bob Geldof.

As I said - please don't bite my head off - that is just my feeling about him.

Bad news they dropped this week on the charts new charts should be up real soon

Top 40 singles

32 PATIENCE Take That

Top 50 albums

40 BEAUTIFUL WORLD Take That

New charts just went up even worse news they are no longer in the top 50 album charts and no longer in the top 40 digital track charts

In the top 40 singles they are:

33 PATIENCE Take That

so down one from last week, could have been worse

Hiya Cat!

Never mind! They tried! I must be honest I didn't expect them to do much in Oz they'll just have to be content with Britain and Europe for now.
