Mitch Winehouse explained that his daughter is struggling to cope after breaking up with her chef boyfriend Alex Claire. He hopes that her management will allow her to take time off as she sorts out her problems. "I'm not ruling out rehab. Amy needs a break. They don't send you to rehab just because you've broken up with someone. There are other things. Amy needs a rest. Her workload is absolutely manic," Mitch told the Sunday Mirror. "She's an emotional girl. Her schedule has caused problems with Alex. He wants to see her. I don't know if that's the reason for the break-up - but wouldn't you want to see your boyfriend now and again?" Any Comments?
March 11, 200718 yr aww bless her... I saw her live in Cardiff last Monday and it was one of the finest gigs I've ever seen... she was sober, too. However, the BBC gig the other night was shambolic in parts.... she seemed to drift toward the end.

March 11, 200718 yr Author Having seen her BBC gig - it was a bit painful to watch, because she was clearly under the influence albeit not as bad as her notorious Charlotte Church show performance. However it was nowhere near as good as some of her other TV performances that I've seen on Later.... with Jools Holland and Channel 4's Album Chart show.

March 12, 200718 yr wtf is this rehab talk?? if you truly have an addiciton, 2 weeks in some stately home is not enough. She's too cool for rehab anyway.
