March 13, 200718 yr Yer, tbh they promoted Rock Steady a lot and it did v well but so many people didnt even know Studio 1 was out, it just had no chance. A shame, cos it got some good reviews and people who did buy it really liked it. One of the best albums of 2006! AS arent over though.
March 13, 200718 yr K-Gee (the music producer who has worked with them in the past) left messages on fans' myspaces to say that somehow, either by finding a new label or self-funding releases, they will promote S1 abroad and release Scar as a single.
March 13, 200718 yr i wouldnt be bothered myself as i was neve rreally a fan in there day i wlways prefered the spice girls
March 14, 200718 yr Author I was never much of a fan i bought Never Ever and should have bought Pure Shores but didnt i got Studio 1 theres some good ones on it ^_^ i wish them every success :)
March 16, 200718 yr Thats a bit untrue IMO, its still been certified Gold for 100k sales, its just that it missed on the top 20 (by a place) and fell after that, and the singles havent had huge amounts of success either. The public still see her as a big name in the music industry, though, and going gold is a good achievement - just seems a bit poor after the huge success of Thank You (400,000+ sales). It did make #20, I'd be shocked if it's crossed 100k though. :o
March 16, 200718 yr Well it crept back up after BOTD release and in Music Week it has a gold disc next to it, signifying 100k+
March 18, 200718 yr Author Well this week its climbed :cheer: 2 places though up to #17 at least its goin the right way
