Seems everytime we get any form of large migration, from the poles in the 21st century from the west indies, Asia and uganda in the 60s & 70s even going as far back as the irish imigration of the mid to late 19th century the Brits get scared, Saying why are they taking are jobs blah blah blah. The fact is Britain would not be able to cope without its foreign work-force. 99% of Poles work in this country and only a hand-full are on benefits. Most are well educated and have alot to offer Britain. Put it this way would u prefer hard working E Europeans in these country or a load of foul mouthed, uneducated , jobless british yobs causeing mayhem. Personally i know who i rather be deported :lol:

 

Polish people aren't immigrants as such, in case you hadn't noticed Poland's in the EU now, so it's in effect no different from me moving from Scotland to England... I dont hear anyone talk sh!t about the loads of Spanish, Germans, Scandinavians or French living here.... <_< My former flatmate was a lazy layabout hippie, stoner who couldn't hold down a job... And FRENCH!!!

 

And it's a hell of a lot more than some immigrants that work, I think you'll find that it's the vast majority, and they're doing the jobs you sure as hell wouldn't do..... And I dont suppose you're aware of this, but when a person actually claims asylum, they are not actually allowed by the Govt to find a job while their claim is being processed.... Yeah, totally fukked up innit...? So, in many ways, it's the fault of the system if there are a lot of immigrants who dont have jobs. And there are quite a lot of asylum seekers who have very much sought after skills, which they are not being allowed to use - people who were doctors, nurses, teachers, etc in their own countries are being told that they're not allowed to work... Stupid.... :wacko:

theres a huge difference now compared to those historical referances.

 

the rate of imigration is now far greater, plus our island is already overpopulated. the assumption that all eastern europeans are hard working and our lads are 'foul mouthed uneducated yobs' is utter rubbish. how many skilled tradesmen do you know?... well i know loads, and they earn and deserve every penny they get. unlike the cut-price jack the lads from europe who have no formal training skills and are often working for less then the minimum wage (living in houses provided by gangmasters cheaply) these cowboys are undercutting our tradesmens livelyhoods.

 

however im not denying their work ethic, i have worked besides poles/ukranians and they do work hard. dont forget though, that only the ones who want to work come here leaving behind their own uneducated, idle, foul mouthed yobs back in poland!

But where are the BNP strong, is it in the north west of England, They don't seem to make any breakthrough in London or the south, where most of the recent influx of immigration is taking place. Their poor showing in Scotland and Wales is because the BNP are very much a Pro-England party, absolutely NOTHING in common with the Scots or the Welsh, and we see through them for what they are, every time they tried to come up to Scotland to hold a rally they were sent packing back across the border with their tails between their legs; they claim to be the 'British' National Party, but they are purely about Englishness, St George (even though HE was Palestinian... :lol: :lol: ), all that c**p... Scotland and Wales have vastly more civilised Nationalist Parties who dont try to blame every single thing on immigrants.... SNP and Plaid Cymru are vastly more positive and actually have a coherent set of policies ranging right across the board from taxation, to health, to education, the defence, to the economy; unlike Griffin's 'rent-a-mob' bunch of chav scum who are just merely two steps away from being Skinheaded boot-boys.... EXACTLY.... Hundreds of thousands of Irish left their homes, abject poverty, the potato famine and starvation to make a life for themselves in Britain - to work in the mills, to work in construction to work in factories, to work in shipyards, coal-mines, etc.... At the last count only about 50 Poles were on benefits in this country....

I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again, you are talking complete rubbish if you think that the majority of Polish and Czech construction workers have no formal training... Most Poles actually learn a trade in school and then go onto a technical college or apprenticeships (y'know, like the things WE USED TO HAVE in this country...). Stop trying to make out that they are cowboys.. Most do an infinitely better job than some of the idiots you see in progs like "Rogue Traders"..... How many dodgy Polish or Czech workers do you see on THAT show then....? Seems mostly a bunch of East-End wide-boys and fukking PYKIES that get exposed on that particular show.....

And even if they earn say half as much as we do, it's still likely to be a damn site more than they'd get in their origin country...

It's not the tradesmen themselves who decide the wages though Rob is it...? The vast majority are being employed via Agencies who are just ripping them off blind and they dont really realise it.... Please, STOP BLAMING THE WRONG PEOPLE..... It really does you no credit at all, and all you are doing is swallowing BNP/UKIP lies and propaganda... Mind you, not that UKIP are ones to talk, their head honcho had his plush little manor done up by a bunch of Polish workers if memory serves..... :P And in any case, even if Polish tradesmen are offering themselves up at a cheaper rate, are you honestly going to tell me that you'll be all 'ethical' and whatnot when your roof is leaking and the quote Mr Wazchowski gives you is a lot better than the quote Mr O' Hare does....? I dont believe it for a minute.. And by the way, Polish people have families too mate.... And rent/mortgage (the house I'm renting is owned by a very nice Polish lady) to pay, and bills, and food to buy.... They've got the same general living expenses we all do......
