Well that's just like asking why people do methamphetamine and cocaine when it does nothing but destroy your body!

That's different, that causes adiction and you can't control it at a certain point... people who are not alcoholics but go out and drink a lot let's say, once a weeks or each 2 weeks mix energy drinks with alcohol, and these people can control it and they know what they're doing.

Your average hardcore clubbers and binge drinkers dont give a sh!t about warnings though mate... There was a study done recently by the RSA in which drugs were listed in the order of their damage to health and well-being and the problems they caused to society in general.. Cannabis rated very low in this study, alcohol rated something like Top 3, just below Heroin and above things like LSD, Speed, Ecstacy, etc....

I feel sorry for them, then  They obviously don't care about the damage they're causing to themselves.

To answer your question, I think they are saying that the excess of energy drinks messed her up a bit... that's all.

Hang on though, we do seem to be forgetting that the girl did have a substance abuse problem as well..... I mean, come on.... I know you're all fans of hers and everything, but dont let the fact you love her blind you to the facts that she does have a drug/alcohol problem as well..... I absolutely LOVED Nirvana, but I would never, ever downplay Kurt Cobain's Heroin abuse problem. That would be entirely dishonest...

Oh I know she had a problem with drugs/alcohol! I was just telling MSL that the article was blaming her strange behavior on energy drinks...

This train went completely off the rails... she DID suffered substance abuse and this article is not a statement from her or her representation team. This is just a couple of doctors who didn't have something better to do than discuss Britney, and their conclusion was that Red Bull might have caused the problems she has.
