Flatheads good, but Baby Fratelli has that riff that once you've heard, it refuses to leave your head :dance:

i like both songs, but voted for Flathead because that song stood out for me more when i got the album ^_^

Doesn't the guitar riff in Baby Fratelli sound like a Fratellied version of Smells Like Teen Spirit though? Maybe that's why it's so catchy/familiar?

I mean I think Baby Fratelli will go Top10 this week so that's what their 3rd? (:unsure:) Top10 single which not many indie bands have, and Flathead is doing pretty well on downloads at the moment because of its exposure (sp?) from the itunes add so yeah, both would have made good singles, but I think they made the right choice in Baby Fratelli. :D

I prefer Baby Fratelli to Flathead, btw the single is available as a limited editon USB Memory stick as from next Monday

Judging by the video, Baby Fratelli looks like it's being used on the Hot Fuzz soundtrack as well, which is good because it means more publicity for the song ^_^

yeah same here, even though i own an iPod and not have anything to play the vinyls on. they look cool!!! more of an art thing

I go through periods of love and hate with The Fratellis. I loved them when the album was released but Chelsea Dagger's over exposure and getting bored of Whistle... put me off them. I love them again now though, Baby Fratelli is easily my favourite of the two.

If anyone really likes this track, why not enter a cover in the design comp in the chart thread? We're a bit slim on entries this week, feel free to give it a go! *Shameless plugging over*

Baby Fratelli is the best song on the album but that's not saying much tbf

 

Flathead, For The Girl, Henrietta being the only other good songs ...

Really not fussed on this band. They never seem to come up with anything all that interesting :S

the cover of T.Rex's Solid Gold Easy Action is awfull though
