May 9, 200718 yr Hmmm, well..... It has some good elements to it, like the whole conflict between Harry and Peter, and the Peter/Mary Jane relationship takes one or two interesting turns, but all in all does this whole Peter/M J relationship not just seem a wee bit like a gay man hanging round with his best female friend......? Sandman was a pretty okay baddie-with-a-conscience too, some impressive fight sequences as well... BUT.... The plotting was a bit too all over the place, Peter's "dark side" just seemed to consist of him wearing his hair a bit differently, putting on a black shirt and sports jacket, doing an incredibly bad John Travolta impression and making his ex jealous by shoving another (rather less attractive let's face it, M J certainly had nothing to be jealous of....) woman in her face... A bit lame really when you compare it to how the symbiote suit affected Eddie Brock.... And speaking of Venom/Eddie, the script writers should be utterly ashamed for just throwing away one of the greatest comic book Spidey villains of all time, how pathetic was he....? How much screentime was Venom given..? 10 mins....? Venom really should have been kept for the inevitable fourth film IMO... Spiderman 3 is not the "greatest superhero film ever", that particular honour goes to "X-Men 2", in fact compared to the superior "Spiderman 2", the third film is seriously lacking in actual dramatic gravitas... And Harry Osbourne actually emerges as the most interesting character in this film.... 6/10 I agree, it was too predictable and all in all quite boring.
May 10, 200718 yr i heard that spiderman 3 was really dissapointing for all the fans. Which is really disappointing considering that it cost 3.5 million to make :yahoo:

Considering that some 3 minute music videos cost 1m+ I think that's VERY cheap considering the massive return they will make on it...

According to box office mojo (which is really accurate) the movie cost $258 million, thus boasting the most expensive film ever made. :o Edited May 10, 200718 yr by Juancito
May 10, 200718 yr I hope not to be disappointed ... I loved the films so much. I'll be able to watch it only at the end of the month. :(
May 15, 200718 yr I haaaaaaateeeed The Emo Peter.. haha and his Dancing thinking he was HOT was CRINGEWORTH, but HILLARIOUS at the same time. I wanted to cry when Harry died - It was so sad.. but I was with friends so I didn't.. haha :P Some lady two rows down couldn't stop though. Brilliant Movie - I even started a slow clap at the end, the one where no-one joins in, I love doing that, My friends are all like "OMG STOP!" haha it's hillarious - try it at an end of a movie.
May 16, 200718 yr Ive still not seen this  which is really bad given that i love the first two. If there was a 4th, it shouldnt be a sequal, more a remake, maybe in an earlier period of time with different actors..
May 16, 200718 yr I enjoyed it. I think Peter Parker looked like a lesbian when they made him darker.
May 16, 200718 yr I enjoyed it. I think Peter Parker looked like a lesbian when they made him darker. Nah, I think another poster hit the nail - he looked like a silly little scowly EMO...... Truly pathetic, it was the most cringeworthy part of the film for me, me and my mates just couldn't stop laughing at Tobey Maguire's lame attempts to act all "Kevin Spacey".....
May 18, 200718 yr Okay well i've watched it now and I absolutely LOVE it. :o Everyone else seems to hate it...
May 20, 200718 yr Spiderman 3 is not the "greatest superhero film ever", that particular honour goes to "X-Men 2", in fact compared to the superior "Spiderman 2", the third film is seriously lacking in actual dramatic gravitas... And Harry Osbourne actually emerges as the most interesting character in this film.... yeah man even though he's a bit of a knob you wish that they keep the goblin on for a new film and get rid of old spidey  then again i think evil dead 4 would be a better idea  must say after all the never -ending melodrama Bruce Campbell provided some relief (even tho he seemed to be channeling Falco, Basil Faulty and Inspector Clousou all into one character) for his brief screen-time and much better than some of the $h!t jokey stuff like the emo travolta strutt. also could have done with more screen time for the 'Evil Eric Forman' and also J.K. Simmons. however Keeeersten Dunst seemed to be auditioning for some expressionless germanic cinema style from the 1960s thoughout or 'Debbie Harry - the movie 2: the jazz years'. On the other hand every day's a happy day when Bryce Dallas Howard is on screen and M Night Shamalamalamalamlam is not involved, though i hope all this dying of her hair doesnt make her bald like old Richie Cunningham  . that would be a tradegy
May 20, 200718 yr I've seen it today. Loved it! My fave from the 3 films, no doubt! ^_^ maybe because its new, wait till you've seen it a few times over a few years then decide. i thought it ws alright but not as good as the others (cgi fx for all the money spent on it was a little bit poor aswell, almost in f4 territory)
May 21, 200718 yr must say after all the never -ending melodrama Bruce Campbell provided some relief (even tho he seemed to be channeling Falco, Basil Faulty and Inspector Clousou all into one character) for his brief screen-time and much better than some of the $h!t jokey stuff like the emo travolta strutt. Bruce Campbell was great, a much-needed bit of comic relief really... I honestly expected him to say the line "Would M'sieu care for a waffer theen meent"
May 21, 200718 yr Equally as good as Spiderman 2 but neither comes close to the first film. If the first film hadn't been so good I doubt I'd have watched either of the sequels.

Well, we'll see. :P
