The winner of the contest will receive $5,000 and a trip to meet Red Hot Chili Peppers and see them perform live in Paris, France on July 6th! RHCP are reaching out to their fans and budding directors to create a video from Stadium Arcadium after seeing so many creative videos for their songs on sites like YouTube. "Videos are harder than they look. It's very very rare and beautiful and monumental when someone makes a truly good video...this is an opportunity to have that happen for this song," says Anthony Kiedis. The winning video will be the "official" video for the song. To enter the contest, which runs through April 20th, eligible entrants should visit YouTube or can go here and follow the instructions to upload their video entry. The contest is open to entrants from the United States, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and Sweden. RedHotChiliPeppers.com WarnerBrosRecords.com YouTube/Group/RHCPContest
March 13, 200718 yr This sounds a REALLY good idea. I've seen the video were Anthony basically says they're tired of rubbish videos and they want a fan to come up with some new ideas for new videos. :D ^_^ I dunno whether Charlie will actually be released as a single though, or whether this video will just be associated with the band on the main list of videos.
October 29, 200717 yr Here's the winning video!: wNvOUkRTkz8 It's a VERY good video, but I don't see the correlation between the video and the song at all. Still, it's a very good video.
