Squeeze to reform

Squeeze have announced they are to reunite to perform a series of live dates, eight years after their last tour.

 

The tour will follow the release of album Essential Squeeze (Universal) on April 30, a definitive hits collection with two previously unreleased tracks.

 

The band will also release the Essential Squeeze DVD on the same day.

 

The Quintessential Tour will commence on November 27 at Southampton Guildhall and continue to Glasgow Carling Academy on November 29, Newcastle City Hall on November 30, Wolverhamton Civic Hall on December 1, Bristol Colston Hall on December 3, London Hammersmith Apollo on December 4, Manchester Apollo on December 7 and Liverpool Philharmonic on December 8.

i read that on teletext too and in the paper with an interview with the two main singer/songwriters (glenn tilbroke and chris dilfford).

 

even though these two are supposed to be one of the most important music writting partnerships ever (like a new wave mccartney and lennon :lol: :lol: or a london neil finn*) will people wanna see Jools Holland???

 

I suppose he will be doing his R&B orchestra thing and later to be bothered
