April 14, 200619 yr Where'd you get that? I wouldn't be surprised if Sony re-released the remixes. It was meant to be re-released as a 4 disc box with the greatest hits last year. But Island Def Jam own the rights to the Mimi remixes, and I'd be surprised if they allowed Sony to include them. They did with the Charmbracelet tracks, but Mariah's reached a whole new level of popularity now.
April 14, 200619 yr I'd like this cos the DFAU remix ain't available on cd, but it looks quite fake or fan-wishing :) How could Sony release 5 Universal remixes ? ;) Maybe it's a fan-made compilation :) LifeLight
April 14, 200619 yr Author Well the place I got it from took it as real information so I don't know
April 14, 200619 yr So it's fake then! :P I'm expecting Sony to do something else this year after the success of greatest hits. Maybe they'll finally release the 'Vision of love legacy edition' after cancelling it 2 years ago!
April 16, 200619 yr I hope it's not true as I bought loads of singles for the remixes a couple of years ago. 'Through The Rain' and 'Loverboy' were both on the last Sony remix album so there is obviously *some* agreement between the 3 record labels Mariah has been on.
April 16, 200619 yr This IS a fake. If it wasn't, we'd have had an official announcement. Like Isaid, IDJ made some deal with Sony for CB tracks to be on the remixes, but they wouldn't let Sony have any of the TEOM singles as it's been so massive. Vision of love - legacy edition was going to be a re-release of the debut album with a bomus disc featuring rare material. It got cancelled though.
