Both David Gray & Westlife are confirmed as having greatest hits collections due later this year. In my opinion, both havent released enough material to do a greatest hits set.

I wouldnt be surprised if Janet Jackson releases an upto date greatest hits in the next year or so. It might help to boost her waning career. Also, there was talk of Natalie Imbrulia releasing a greatest hits too & I think Enrique Iglesias may have one soon.

westlife aren't confirmed. they are not sure if they are doing a gh or a studio album or even a new love album according to a kian's interview...

apart from daniel o donnell & pink the list is alomost like a whose gonna be dropped? who's got their deal ending soon? kinda vibe

Lol why would Nelly be dropped?! If were talking Furtado and not the rapper.

Celine Dion had a greatest hits already anyway.

She's barely had enough songs since 1998 time to warrant another.

I'm sure P!nk is in line for one soon.

If the rumours are true [for the 1000000000000000000000000000th time] Spice Girls greatest hits could be in the works and I think McFly will churn one out before the year is up too.

Christina - too early...

pink - maybe

jamelia - no way ! how many albums released ? 2 ???

celine dion - maybe... she wants to get back in business, so...

liberty x - who ???

daniel o donnell - sorry ?

the streets - only 2 albums released ! no way !

weezer - well... maybe, but not a major act...

emma bunton - Emma ??? are you kidding ?

geri halliwell - well..

nelly - no way ! She's releasing a Spanish album later this year and a new English album is expected next year

embrace - how many years ago have released their first collection ?

Westlife - I think it's almost confirmed...

David Gray - his old label is releasing a sort of best of early years in 2 or 3 weeks time...

LifeLight

I don't think the Streets will have one, I think they have a new album planned

An Embrace one would be class though

I don't want Greatest Hits, the'll flop no matter what. But I think some people may do a Greatest Hits this year or next year:

Pink

Christina Aguilera

Jennifer Lopez

But they've only had two albums since their last one!

and delta has had 14 singles, 11 being hit singles in OZ, 1 off an album in japan, an extra uk one and a very early single which was released in OZ :

I Don't Care

Born To Try

Lost Without You

Innocent Eyes

Not Me Not I

Predictable

(Throw It Away was digital only in the uk so would be on it)

Out Of The Blue

Mistaken Identity

Almost Here

A Little Too Late

Be Strong

Together We Are One

Flawed

The 3rd album will add another 5 songs to this list and her first album did VERY well in the uk actually.

BUT i don't think she should have a greatest hits for at least another 2-3 albums

pink, - this would be a big seller though I can see it happening next year but not this year

jamelia, - possibly though I'm not sure this would do very well, not very convinced this will happen

celine dion, - very likely I'd say, with a decent amount of promotion this would sell pretty well

liberty x - may well happen though imo this would miss the top 20 and would be the end of them

daniel o donnell - probably be released and do well

david gray - really hope so, I would probably buy this and imo there is enough material to be released, people think of him purely and simply for white ladder and that is unfair as he has had several other hit albums and singles released, his last album 'Life In Slow Motion' was superb, this would probably get top 15 at least

the streets - no chance, not convinced they would even want to ever release a Greatest Hits album

weezer - doubt it n even if it did happen this would probably be very low key and miss the top 40

emma bunton - a possibility which I would buy though I don't think her solo career is over yet despite her recent single and album doing fairly poorly,

geri halliwell - I would love for this to happen and would definately buy it and think that it may well happen, this could surprise some people and do fairly well

nelly - dunno really, probably not

embrace - I can see this being released and getting top 5 at least, if not number 1

spice girls - what can I say lol, I would so buy this, they are the best and most succesful girl group in history and this album would go down a storm and would be number 1 for weeks, I can possibly see this happening but in 2008 not this year though

Westlife already released a GH around 5 years back, and have only had 7 covers (I mean singles  ) since then, so unless they are going to put loads more covers that have'nt been released already?

David Gray has only had around 15 singles I think, but I would buy his.

celine dion, - very likely I'd say, with a decent amount of promotion this would sell pretty well

Very unlikely I'd say..

She's releasing 2 brand-new albums this year (one in May & one in October), so there's no chance she will be releasing a greatest hits record anytime soon..

David Gray hasn't had enough hits so it'll probably be crammed with tracks from White Ladder.

David Gray is releasing a Greatest Hits later in the year, as well as the Early Years one due on 26th March

He has had 10 singles since 2000 - so along with some new tracks thats enough for a greatest hits

Babylon

Please Forgive Me

This Years Love

Sail Away

Say Hello Wave Goodbye

The Other Side

Be Mine

The One I Love

Hospital Food

Alibi

JLo defo wont! A new Spanish album is out at the end of March and then a new English one in Winter!! All the speculation is silly IMO, half these artists wont have a GH for years and half of the ones that do have one, we havent even anticipated!

Christina Aguilera would have the weirdest greatest hits album ever! Unless she put the songs in order of release it would sound crazy! lol. I would buy it though :)

pink - Think it would do amazing, love pink fantastic artist. But id rather a new album.

jamelia, - Think it could finish her tbh, althought she has had some good songs :)

celine dion, - Love a bit of celine, but like others have said i think its too soon.

liberty x - WILL finish them off

daniel o donnell - Will do well i think with the oldies lol

the streets - No chance not enought hits imo.

weezer -

emma bunton - Great album it would be, with 9 top 20 hits! altough i think she still has life in her (god i hope so anyway lol)

geri halliwell - Would love it! :)

nelly - Depends which nelly

embrace - i wouldnt buy it only really like one song :)

Never gonna happen in the UK

Nelly better not Release A GH

After Folklore Flopage, i seriously doubt she would.

I think P!nk might do one though ^_^
