Anyone like Semisonic? Esp Chemistry!!!

 

with the fray and the feeling in the charts at the moment and selling megaloads, think its a shame that Semisonic's Chemistry was like so many years too sooon, it totally should have been the longstayer that things like "Love It When You Call" is.

That one was good, didn't hear of anything else from them, plus Semisonic were abit more accoustic than The Fray/Nickelback etc. methinks

I loved Semisonic - I own both Feeling Strangely Fine & Chemistry albums. After they split up their lead singer went on to co-write "Not Ready To Make Nice" the 2007 Grammy winning song by The Dixie Chicks.

 

However, to me they were more the original (& superior) Maroon 5.

 

Whilst The Fray sound like an inferior American Coldplay tribute act.

I reckon there's going to be a backlash soon enough of bands like Maroon 5, The Fray, and long-stayers like Chasing Cars because apparently some of them (not Snow Patrol) are tweaked so that they can feature on American Hospital dramas, then they EXPLODE :lol: (like HTSAL and CC did)

 

I like The Fray and Snow Patrol though :D
