March 16, 200718 yr They tied on both points and twelve points didn't they? :o They did, and it's a shame because the French song that year was far superior to Carola's :( However, I can make up for it by wanting Carola to win last year

March 30, 200718 yr Author Some cool facts about 12 points: - Ireland is the country with most 12 points, in a total of 63 times. The UK is 2nd with 59 points. - UK 1997 and Greece 2005 were the countries who got more 12 points in one year (10 times). However 24 countries cast votes in 1997 and in 2005 were 39, which makes Katrina & the Waves feat more amazing. - UK 1981 is the winner with least 12 points, just two. France, Switzerland and Germany got more 12 points than Bucks Fizz. - The best result with no 12 points comes from Norway 1996 became the runner-up without getting any 12 points. - The first 12 points ever were given in 1975 from Netherlands to Luxmebourg...whose singer was Irish. - Austria had to wait 13 years to receive its first 12 points in 1989. They came from the first voting country that year, Italy.
