It's on SSN.

It would be harsh on Kimi but only fair if others cheated.

ooh thank you, on Sky Sports website now

but exactly what's fuel temperatures going to do? I'm not a huge racing fan (as you might guess )

I don't know either.

F1 is so corrupt.

It really is, this is the first season i have paid propper attention to, since i have been at home some much cause of my back, it just seams really silly.

Would they have even took notice of this had Lewis won?

simple answer is no. As was stated on the BBC news he is the first black formular one driver, so they need him to win to help promote the sport as one of equal oppertunties. The fact the leader of the F1 governing body saying that he wanted Lewis Hamilton to win before the race has absolutly nothing to do with this what so ever. They should let it go, he wasn't good enough on the day and Kimmi was.

It will be a huge shame if Kimi loses the championship in this way, he won it fairly and squarely on the track. Much as I like Hamilton as a driver, he has had the benefit of lots of dodgy decisions, where other drivers have been punished. If he wins in this way, I feel it will always be deemed as second best. I am sure he would have preferred to win it on the track as well.

But this season has been dogged with scandal, and none more so than McLaren possibly using Ferrari knowhow on the cars. McLaren never won a race in 2006 and suddenly they had the fastest car. Conspiracy theories anyone?

on the breakfast news they said 'if it had happend to alonso there would have been a scandal, conspiracy theories and suspected sabotage'... it seems very strange that his gearbox developed a fault and then righted itself!

Dennis is planning to appeal :manson:

After all Dennis and McLaren have done to destroy the "sport's" image this season with their cheating and the lack of penalties for Hamilton then Dennis doing this is a despicable and graceless act, this is like a convicted burglar suing a householder for negligence because they left a window slightly ajar on a hot summer's night.

Hamilton being declared champion now in a courtroom would seriously damage Hamilton's image and credibility too, I hope he has the good sense to tell Ron to get a fukkin grip and stop damaging his and the sport's image any further

I feel sorry for Lewis. All he has had to put up with on his debut season. All these things must have built up inside him.

All I can say is commiserations Lewis.

Come back next year and show 'em all. If he was to win the championship next year he would still make history as no driver has won the world championship until the 3rd season. This accolade went to Schumacher, Alonso & Fittipaldi.

I didn't want Kimi to win at all because I hate Ferrari. They have got away with plenty of things when the had Schumacher.

It also looks like Britain's Justin Wilson is going to come second in the Champ Car Championship behind Sebastian Bourdais who will be in F1 next year for Toro Rosso

Alonso won in his 4th didn't he? I'm sure he only had one season out?

yes

he did a season at minardi,

one test driving for renault

then one in the R23

then another in the steaming turd that was the R24

before winning in the R25 and R26

can u tell im a renault fan? lol

thank god the little cheating $h!tbag didn't win. the arrogant little pillock. Karma come 2 mind? hope alonso comes back 2 us next year because i refuse to support him at McLaren. They are dirty cheats and Ron Dennis is a foul creature, should be put down like the dog he is.

How McLaren have gotten away with half the stuff they have this year i have no idea, the FIA have tried to fix the past two world championships and it has backfired, twice, they should just leave the sport alone. As for that bast*rd ron dennis, he should stop clutching at bloody straws. McLaren should have been banned (Permanently imho) for their role in spygate. they are by far the worst team in f1.

oh, should i also mention they went crying to the FIA about renaults mass dampers. where did they get that info from? perhaps they were spying on the as well

Dennis should just shut up and move on, dragging this out does not good for the sport

I really think hamilton himself wants to win his first wdc out on a race track that way it would feel an achievement, winning it in some smoke filled courtroom on a minor technicality would make his first title a joke and he knows it

I hope Mosley picks up the phone to Dennis and advises him that if he does not drop the case that the FIA inspections of the 2008 car will be painstakingly slow and will only end the night before Melbourne therefore losing McLaren loads of testing and development time

i totally agree, as much of an asswipe he is i think he'd rather win out on the track, any driver would.

i think the FIA have been very lenient in the fact that they are letting McLaren race next year at all, ron dennis should shut up, move on and thank god he actually has a season to prepare for

would have saved a load of hassle if they just threw both drivers out of the drivers chamipnship too for the spygate stuff.

Exactly

Ron is saying that the drivers benefitted from this "illegal" fuel and therefore should be punished so presumably he feels the same now then that his drivers should be punished over Stepney-Gate as the drivers benefitted from the team's cheating ;) amazing how selective his memory is, maybe he has alzheimers or something as he seems to forget that only 6 weeks ago he said that it is unfair to punish the drivers for a team mistake (Stepney-Gate)

And Mike Gascoyne one of the most respected technical guys in F1 has said that this so called advantage worked out to around 1 sec over the entire race so no difference at all given the Beemers were about half a minute ahead of Hamilton

If Dennis wants drivers punished for a team error like in Brazil then equally Hamilton should lose all his WDC points ;)
