So who's going to stay up for the qualifying with me tommorow? :cheer: (actually I'm going out so I'll be sobering up while watching it probably  )

How do we think Lewis Hamilton do? Will this be Jenson's year? Race and championship predictions?

I have a feeling Raikonnen might get it this year personally but it's the most unpredicatable season in a while I think :o

doesn't it start around the time Comic Relief finishes?

If so, I might be up for staying up  Anything to stop me going to sleep to wake up to my final year project

Just finished watching P1 on Sopcast :) great session :)

I have a few quid on Massa for the title, knows Ferrari and the engineers inside out :) but Alonso looked awesome in P1 so it will be tough, can't wait :cheer:

It had better not rain in Sepang like it has in Melbourne though :P I better take a brolly out there

I think this season will be very interesting, i might even stay up for the qualifying  It's so difficult to predict but i reckon the race result will be 1. Raikonnen 2. Alonso 3. Massa 4. Button 5. Fisichella. As for the Championship, i think Alonso will win it, with Raikonnen in 2nd. One more thing, im so happy Schumacher retired, i can't stand him :cheer:

Me too :cheer: Always hated him especially after what he tried to do in 97 <_< Ayrton Senna is still the best driver ever imo. -_-

I hated him for his feud with Damon Hill -_- Damon Hill's my favourite ever driver, but i wasnt named after him. Thats been asked so many times i thought id say before anyone else asks

He's my too as it was him who got me into F1 in the first place ^_^ (Well him and one of my brothers who loved it  ) And I wouldn't think you'd be old enough to be named after him anyway

I was 4 years old when he started in F1, so im too old to be named after him. Did you mean that

Button hasn't got a chance this season. Honda will be the 5th best team if lucky! Infact, they could move all the way down to 8th this season!

BMW have made the biggest improvement in terms of pace and have regularly matched the top 3 in testing, with two excellent drivers they could go extrmely far. However they seem to have a few reliability issues at the moment.

I think Massa will win the drivers championship and Ferrari will ease their way to constructors...

this could be a really open season, depending on who gets to grip with their new cars quickest. With Alonso and Raikkonen changing teams, that can sometimes take time to get used to it. Will be watching on Sunday.
So...... did anyone else stay up to watch the qualifying? I honestly didnt think Lewis Hamilton would qualify 4th but good luck to him tomorrow ^_^

I was watching this programme this week about Mclaren with Hamilton and Alonso, it said Hamilton was having some teething problems but he went on to post the fastest time at the test track out of ALL the drivers

We should get a F1 Fantasy League up and running ^_^

Even this seems like it was optimistic!

Absolutely hilarious that they were comfortably beaten by Super Aguri!

Fantastic for Heidfeld too up in 3rd, it's about time that he was in a decent car after years of being very unfairly overlooked in favour of worse drivers! <_<

What's the deal with Super Aguri this year? Are they set to become like the 5th/6th best team in F1 or was that a one-off :o I have to admit i havent really been keeping track of what's been going on between the end of last year and the start of this years.
Basically, Super Aguri is pretty much last years Honda but modified to make sure it's in with new regulations and so that it's not a carbon copy. The same with Torro Rosso, it's practically last years Red Bull. As Jenson Button took the same Honda to pole in Aus last season it's not THAT surprising.
Hamilton did great on his debut, looks like he could give Alonso a run for his money.

I'm a big F1 fan! Finally the season got on the way!

Though the first race in Melbourne was a bit boring. :( I hope in the next race we will have more excitement!
