March 18, 200718 yr If it does actuallty win (which it won't) imagine how shocked everyone will be  I do think that we could have gone top 10 with either big brovaz, cindi or hawkins and brown tbh... i do think political issues are present in some parts of europe but all but in the end the best song ALWAYS wins.
March 18, 200718 yr To be honest whilst I realise this may sound stupid, I feel you are all being slightly too pesemistic, yes I wanted Hawkins and Brown to win followed by Liz McClarnon and not Scooch but the thing about Scooch's song is that whilst it is a terrible song, it is a very cheesy, novelty pop song with a good stage performance so to be honest, I certainly wouldn't rule out it winning.

Well, i hope you are right. I remember i think slovenia a few years doing the same sorta act but transvestites as the cabin crew and i don't tink it did very well.

You would honestly want a pile of sh!t like that to win...?? Do me a favour, after a decent song winning last year, it would like going from sublime to bloody ridiculous....
March 18, 200718 yr You would honestly want a pile of sh!t like that to win...?? Do me a favour, after a decent song winning last year, it would like going from sublime to bloody ridiculous.... The last 2 years winners have both been fantastic and have both had alot of well deserved success.
March 18, 200718 yr The last 2 years winners have both been fantastic and have both had alot of well deserved success. Lordi did really well in the UK, I mean, before Eurovision, the only place those guys would be getting a gig would be a tiny venue like Camden Underworld... Cos they won, they started playing the big venues like The Forum, etc....

Cheesy novelty pop hasn't won in ages -_-
March 19, 200718 yr Don't feel bad David, its the only song that was memorable after one listen and thats what Eurovision is all about... Having said that I really like Liz's song now...I still prefer Scooch though
March 19, 200718 yr I don't hold out much hope after last year's travesty where Daz really should have been top 10 at least... Having said that, it has a very strong gimmick
March 19, 200718 yr I'd just like to remind people that although it may not have been the best song the whole act did manage to get more votes than any other in the British vote - showing it has mass appeal. And although it wasnt the best song it isn't as bad as some seem to be making out, if you listen to it and see the funny side with the rather unsubtle sexual references and look at the cheesy dance moves I'm sure it'll put a smile on your face. I think it could therefore do the same all across Europe and hopefully pick up some points. in comparison to some of the other rather dank and depressing entries it should add some colour to the event C'Mon guys get behind them - REMEMBER Europeans can smell fear!

Means fukk all mate... Didn't Daz Sampson win the vote last year..? What a joke he turned out to be... Frankly, we'd probably get more Eurovision votes by entering "My Lovely Horse" from Father Ted than this pile of Scootch bollocks....
March 20, 200718 yr cyndi woul dhave got top 10 in eurovision i think,id like scooch to do well but i dont think they will, ireland and scooch will be fighting for 15-20th places i think
March 20, 200718 yr Ireland are entering the same thing they've been entering for years...how surprising...I'm sure these celtic tunes are still huge over there I actually quite like it though :kink: Edited March 20, 200718 yr by gooddelta
