Hi Guys

Wanted to say a big thank you to those who bought the new album. It's been a hard few weeks but I am working away and getting ideas for the next video for "Place to hide".

Your support has meant very much to me and continues to encourage me everyday.

I wanted to say a big apology also to people who can't come to the Lionel Richie tour due to tickets already being sold out - this was due to only being confirmed after the tickets were already gone. I hope that somehow some people can get tickets but if not, I will be following up the Lionel dates with my own tour dates around the UK!! I can't wait and have been pushing to play my own gigs here for a long time - I have really missed playing in the UK.

Anyway thanks again and we will as ever keep you all posted on everything I am doing.

Yay for Place To Hide - but I still think we needed somethin catchy like 'Something About You' or even 'Alone' but Mercury don't seem to have any plans for either of them :S :(

I downloaded 'Place To Hide' and it is stunning, I don't know what they were thinking releasing 'Last Year' or 'Sinking In' when they have that. :o

I love the song and everything - but I really don't think it'll work as a single to be honest! I really wanted SAY to be released as it seems to be really popular, I doubt it'll get a release though, it'll be like TTC all over again lol

Oh, I wish it was Passionate You! Maybe they will actually try something new this time round and - god forbid - promote!

Thats what I'm worried about...they need to start giving her more promo, you'd think they would have realised that by now lol

in my opinion i think they should of released the same side or Almost.. but im happy with PTH :D lets hope Mercury finaly do some work :lol

Not my favourite but it's OK...like Natz I'd have preferred SAY, or Alone...but as long as they actually bother promoting her this time I don't mind!

I think it's a sweet choice and the video should be a good one because it could have so many themes, I know a lot of people say Place To Hide is one of their favourites and that Lucie's vocals really shine. I don't see no reason why it won't do alright unless the usual situation occurs and there's no promotion. Half the problem with the singles/album is people not knowing it's out sadly.

 

My own personal favourite track for a single would have been Something About You but I guess Lucie/Mercury know better than me when picking songs so I'll leave it in their capable hands and trust they're making the best decisions. :lol:

Great choice! Place to hide is a wonderful song. But she has a lot of great songs at The same side album. So any other choice will be great too.

PTH is my fave Lucie song, but I dunno how it'll do as a single. It could go either way I guess!

Release date May 14th for this, or that's the plan!

This one cannot flop, her record company need to wake up and smell the coffee, she has ages now before it is released, so the song needs to be put on both the Radio 1 and 2 playlists, the video needs to be put on the music channels to nobody knew that Sinking In asbeing released thats why it flopped she has had tw top ten hits and an amaing selling album which shows that people are interested in her, her record company can't let her down this time. I love this song by the way :wub:

I know...Mercury really need to promote her this time, I don't get why they wouldn't!
