March 20, 200718 yr Oh dear. The more I think about it, and the more I listen to Cyndi and H&B, the more I fume about Scooch representing us at the Contest. -_- It's barbaric, it really is. :( H&B actually have quite a catchy song. :o I hadn't much realised it before.
March 20, 200718 yr Scooch WERE singing live...if people think they were miming then they must have been very good live :-) Remember last year when Daz won with Teenage Life...the girls were miming to sped up sound effects then and the only live bit was Daz's rapping However, for the contest the girls HAD to learn to sing their part live as it is part of the rules...

March 21, 200718 yr yes I did pay 25p to vote for it, I'd be ashamed to admit to that, I really would.... I mean, WHY ffs...? Mind you, not that any of the others were really any better, but......
March 21, 200718 yr I'd be ashamed to admit to that, I really would.... I mean, WHY ffs...? Mind you, not that any of the others were really any better, but...... I have no shame :P I always vote for someone. Liz was OK, Brian was awful, Big Brovaz and Cyndi were ok, Scooch were good and funny and Justin was bland so I went for Scooch as they made me smile which is more than any of the others did
March 21, 200718 yr Eurovision row puts Scooch in the dock Source: Music week A row has broken out over the competition to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest, after winners Scooch were accused of miming. In that case they should be thrown out and - Cyndi be re-instated.
March 21, 200718 yr Bahhh I take back all I've said about hating Scooch. :( I really like it now.

March 22, 200718 yr Oh dear..... A real lapse of good judgement there mate.... Don't rub it in! It's so catchy in a cheesy sort of way. :arrr:
March 22, 200718 yr Cyndi sounded a bit like celine i thought, ballads always do better for the uk, more so than catchy songs in my opinion. I hope scooch do get scrapped and we get somebody else. Btw... jemini, the other year, on the show in which they were picked to represent us, the woman sag perfectly and had a great voice but on the night she missed every note, so why was she so much worse on the night, did she previously mime?
March 22, 200718 yr Apparently they couldn't hear the background music on stage in Riga. I think it was just nerves myself. :(
March 23, 200718 yr Don't rub it in! It's so catchy in a cheesy sort of way. :arrr: Mate, a nasty bout of flu and a dose of the clap is 'catchy' as well...... :P

In no way could this piece of sh!t be described as either 'great' nor 'music'..... Great British music is The Beatles, The Who, Sex Pistols, The Clash, Stone Roses, The Smiths, New Order, Goldfrapp, Pulp, Massive Attack, Aphex Twin, Ladytron, Depeche Mode, The Cure, Echo and the Bunnymen, Joy Division, Editors, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Placebo........ Grim dude, you know how people love their pigeonholes and 'enforced genres', you know you shouldnt compare sccoch with any of that alternative list you gotta compare them with a similar group like atc. however scooch still total $h!te then  leave the eurodance, sorry the europop (same thing innit  ) to the europeans

And since when were The Beatles, The Who, etc, considered 'Alternative'.....? Must of missed that meeting....
