Sorry guys but i'm not too taken with the video. :( It'll probably grow on me when I see it on the TV (as they all do) but on first impressions i'm not overly keen. However the song is still ACE. ^_^

I love the video! And I obviously love the track.

Really hope this gets to #1, really deserves it I think.

For some strange reason I thought the vid would be brighter, instead its dark lol I kinda like it, its totally different to whats out now so its all gd. I actually lyk Jay Z's part at the beginning and I love Rhi's dance bit at the end, but I think the chorographer for this video should have given her a better dance routine with the umbrella, she coulda done so much better

The bit at the end is quite scary, you know where they march with the umbrella's and that electricified rain is falling down, it reminds me of 'Kill The Beast' from Beauty and the Beast, where Gaston and the villagers go to the Beasts castle to kill him

Umbrella entered the Dutch Tipparade * Charts before they go onto the official top 40 * at number 27, hopefully it will climb it's way up very soon!

I've watched the video a few more times and I've really gone off it and started to see the flaws in it. It looks very fake and contrived, and I just can't get over that hair. :(

It looks quite good ^_^ She looks weird close up though :lol: Tbh, I think the lack of any sort of plot ruins it.

Well I love the track now. I didn't really see the fuss about it at first, but now I really like it. :D

 

Not too keen on the video though, it all looks, just a little bit too much OTT.

Does anybody know what the "triangle" thing she's in during the end of the video when she's painted silver represents, if anything?

It's hot ... I'm not keen on the silver-body-paint scene but the rest is wicked. Still not too keen on the track though tbh.

100% agree with this. One of the things that made Unfaithful so huge was the excellent video and the extent that it conveyed the lyrics, mind you I think Unfaithful was one of those "story-telling" tracks anyway, whereas Umbrella just isn't. :mellow:
