Hard-Fi go West in July

teletext.co.uk

Hard-Fi are to release their second album on July 9, Teletext can reveal.

The band are still working on the album - working title Once Upon A Time In The West - but their record label Atlantic has given it a scheduled release date.

Richard Archer told Teletext last month the album is "heavier and warmer" than Stars Of CCTV and that he believes 75% of the songs they've recorded so far are potential singles.

Will any of you being buying the follow up to Stars of CCTV?

This has been put back to September 3rd now, as an unoffical release date.

By the way things seem to be going i'm thinking it'll be more like a mid-October release to be honest...

This should be good, I really liked Stars Of CCTV.

xXx

I really liked Stars Of CCTV, so I'll be interested to see what their new stuff is like.

depends if that LE dvd pack counts as the sophomore album, hopefully it wont get 'the curse of the sophomore slump' which seems to have effected the new editors album according to q

Yes :D Stars of CCTV was one of my fave albums of 2006 ^_^ Cash machine etc: I loved it, hopefully this will be better, and I will be buying it ^_^

Did anyone record the single premiere on BBC??

And by the way, have you guys watched the podcasts on youtube? From the little previews we can hear from it, looks like this album is going to be as catchy as Stars of CCTV.

I really like the new single! :D Has potential to be huge as well, and sounds much betteer in HQ than as a live track.

And nope I didn't record it. :( I was looking all last night for a rip of it, but alas no luck. :(
