Posted March 27, 200718 yr I just had to call attention to this.. "If you're not familiar with Enya, they're a Celtic New Age type group that played easy listening "elevator music" in the mid to late 1990s. You might compare them to Kenny G. I can't say that I was ever "into" their music, but some of the piano solos are incredible!" My goodness..I don't know what to say. The only way I consider Enya a "group" is if we are talking about her, Roma, and Nicky..
March 27, 200718 yr :o <_< Whoever wrote that either had no idea who Enya is, or is thinking of Clannad.
March 27, 200718 yr I bet they're thinking of Enigma... similarish type of music to someone who's not really into that sort and both begin with En. That's all I can think of anyway!
March 28, 200718 yr Author Oh boy..Enigma is NOTHING like Enya to me. -_- Nobody can step to Enya.
March 28, 200718 yr Never heard any of Enigma's stuff, though I've heard of them, but "Enigma" does kinda sound like "Enya."
March 29, 200718 yr Whoever wrote that was wide of the mark but in a strange way it's partly true. Enya is more then the performer as it's not just Enya herself that creates the tracks, as I understand Enya does not ever write and lyrics herself for example.
March 29, 200718 yr Author I don't think they mean it in that way, though..as in Enya is a unit consisting of herself, Roma, and Nicky..I really think they thought Enya is a group..as in more than one singer. I found the description while I was on eBay looking around, so not on Wiki. :)
April 1, 200718 yr I'm not keen on Enigma myself... I find Return To Innocence waaaay too long - it's like eight minutes I think?
April 1, 200718 yr Author I think that song is okay, but that's probably one of the only Enigma songs that I do.
