I dunno, I'm seeing it tonight though

dont go its utter rubbish. you cant believe 6 people were involved in writing the film!!! think watching the confessions films or Eskimo Nell might be better :arrr:

the only funny thing about it is that its about two dudes who want to make a 90 minute movie rather than a two minute movie at film school and ironically this film would be better at 2 minutes itself (well actually like norbit the 30 seconds of the trailer work muc better and have all the funny stuff in it )

i hope the production staff of the actual film actually mirrors the foreign crew of the porno, but slightly more tarded.

I;ve never had any desire to subject myself to "Sex Lives of the Potato Men".... Always seemed to me to be a total rip-off of that cheesy 70s Brit-Com "Confessions of a Window Cleaner" with Robert Asqwith, but likely less fun... I have no particular desire to see "I Want Candy" either tbh....

i saw it on tv a few weeks ago and read so much how its te worst brit film ever and how top-comedy talent rubbished themselves i had to kinda watch it (reading music mag at same time, so hour not totally wasted!!!). was utter rubbish, but one joke did make me snigger and just one micro-rating better than i want candy which not only is rubbish but boring too. rather watch American Pie again insted on itv2 for the millionth time (AP3 on now).

But the auditions bit

but the auditions seen has been done a zillion times before, and much better as well. think this film has been knocking around various prod co offices sinces the 1970s and ever so often other bits knicked from other films are added to a revised script.

Well the only bit of the auditions scene I really laughed at was the chinese girl and when she was suddenly rolled into the classroom LMAO

it might have been funny the first time its been done, but Priscilla Queen of The Desert, Phoenix Nights etc etc have all been there before.

note to Brit film industry: new jokes please

Sex Lives of the Potato Men is really funny. The bit where Julia Davis covers her ex's house with liquidised dog dirt is genius.
