Posted March 28, 200718 yr Madonna has been widely criticized in her acting career. But in which film do you think she was best? I actually think she's great in the first half of "The Next Best Thing". It's only when it turns too "Kramer vs. Kramer" that she falters, like the movie. She was also hilarious in "Four Rooms", the funnier of the five witches. Although it's regarded as her best performance, I think she lacks something in the "Evita" role.

March 29, 200718 yr Madonna's certainly not the best actress but who is? She's been bad in some of her films and in some she's been rather good, i.e Desperately Seeking Susan, A League of their Own and Evita. A film Madonna appeared in in 1994 was Dangerous Game, now i've only seen a trailer but people and fans who've seen it have said that it was Madonna's best acting to date along with Evita! I also thought she was pretty convincing in Body of Evidence and the end of Swept Away. Something that proved wrong with The Next Best Thing would probably be Madge coming in and out of different accents lol! I think Madonna can act, when she's not in charge of the script/direction and when she's playing herself!
