Posted March 28, 200718 yr Noel Gallagher makes Glastonbury request Wednesday, March 28 2007, 12:27 BST Digitalspy.com By Matt Houghton Noel Gallagher has reportedly made a request to events organiser Michael Eavis to play at Glastonbury festival this summer. The Oasis guitarist is currently playing a series of solo shows and has asked NME to put in a good word for him with Eavis. According to NME, he said: "Playing the acoustic stuff at the festivals, that would be good. "Actually, Glastonbury acoustic tent sounds nice! That would be good. Yeah, do us a favour stick that in and Mr. Eavis will give me a call. Saying that, he'd probably put me on at the same time as the Arctic Monkeys. "The best slot is second on the bill on the Other Stage. I've never had that slot at Glastonbury, but we've done it at Glastonbury and it's great." Would you like to see Noel play an acoustic set at Glastonbury or not?
