Just having a bit of a ponder here  If IWCY had been released before Mixed Up World would the album have done any better? I know 'if's are pretty pointless lol, but listening to both had me thinking. IWCY was such a better song, both did fairly well on the charts but would IWCY have enticed more people to buy the album?

I know MUW never hooked me in, and i never did buy Shoot From The Hip.

I loved Mixed Up World alot at the time but tbh i was more into Emma Bunton - Maybe at the time  but i think I Won't Change You might have just been better to start off with
Yep, definatley would have been a beter lead single. Doubt that there would have been any more singles or the tour though becuase Sophie was heavily pregnant.

Good point. Hopefully we'll get at least 3 singles this time round. The great thing about releasing the album after the 2nd single is the guarantee of there being to singles! Forum a bit dead today. Very, in fact.

I think it was a FAR better song than 'Mixed Up World', it did roughly the same I guess, the only thing is, despite 'I Won't Change You' going top 10 - it didn't even push the album back into the top 75. :(

I would have definitely released 'I Won't Change You' first, but maybe the strategy they had was to release a weaker single to re-introduce her, then release the strong single second to make sure the album is a consistant seller... except that backfired. :(

Also 'Love It Is Love' was intended as the 3rd single but for obvious reasons they couldn't follow it through. :( I don't know how that would have done, but I adore that song.

Aww i would have liked to see a video for Love It Is Love

Should have gave it a brief return though after the amount of people that bought RML
