well obviously dylan was the original, donovan was our answer, dylan is recognised as an all time great (but not my taste) donovan was a 60's also ran...

 

but i prefer donovans material to dylans... 'sunshine superman' was a class pop song, and 'hurdy gurdy man' was superb imho... his lightweight 'there is a mountain' and 'jenifer juniper' though werent his best.

not a huge fan of either,tbh, but of the two i preferred Donovan.

I prefer Donovan myself, probably because my dad was a big fan.

 

He liked Dylan too but only had a couple of his albums.
