Well I was listening to this online radio show and they played Katharine Mcphee's, Over It (which jumped around 20 positions into the top 30, this week on the Billboard charts!). And they said that her record label is speculating on releasing her music in the UK! So if this is true what singles do you think she should release to get her the best success in the UK?

 

I think "Dangerous", because it has that mellow electro-pop feel to it! And then follow it up with "Over It". After that then she should release the album...

I think she could do pretty well here in the UK, 'Open Toes' would be a good debut single for her in the Uk, followed by 'Over It'

then 'Everywhere I Go' with 'Do What You Do' being the fourth & final single release then she can release a new album :D

I have her album, and it is very good.

I think she could do very well over here given the right promotion and airplay.

Also 'Each Other' and 'Dangerous' would do well here in the UK.

Your probably right. I see her being more succesful in the UK then the US really. Because she sings slow mid-tempo ballads, and perky electro-pop/ slightly hip-hop fused songs.

I agree, and Love Story and Open Toes are the 2 contenders for 2nd single [with Love Story being the song with Katharine's vote] so I just think they'll use the 1st U.S. single to see how it goes, if it goes well, then give her a shot, but if not then leave it.

I'd go with Dangerous.

But, "Love Story" would be a great Summer release! I could see it goign top ten in America! But I think "Open Toes" is the most commercial track on the album and would be a definite hit for her...
