Right, although there's been no official announcement of Madonna going back into the studio, several sources including Madonna herself and Stewart Price have cited that she's about to work on new material. As well as the mentioned names, Timberland has also stated in many tv/magazine interviews that he's planning to work with the priestess of pop and that Pharell Williams is also on board as a collaborator.

To add to the speculation, Madonna was also recently snapped heading into a North London recording studio (guitar in hand!).

So, as well as Stewart Price, we have Timberland and Pharell Williams as musical collaborators which brings to mind many queries...what will the album sound like? To which audience is this music catering for? Are these producers called in to put her back on US radio stations? What will be Madonna's look for this record?

I never quite imagined that Madonna would resort to such commercial 'current' producers, well saying that, she did approach Babyface, Dallas Austin and Nelle Hooper who were popular rnb artists in the mid 90's for Bedtime Stories, that album which went triple platinum in the states and produced a #1 best-selling single (Take a Bow). So maybe Madonna's approach here doesn't seem as bad as some fans may think!

I'm expecting a selection of dance inspired rnb songs with a few ballads this time round. Let us consider the work Pharell has done for Gwen, its sort of dance/electro/rnb (correct me if i'm wrong). So maybe we can expect him to do similar stuff for Madonna?

To finish here, i think its gonna work and i'm pretty excited; i believe Madonna's gonna pull this off really well and i just hope she does!

I was thinking the other day, maybe its a bad idea working with timberland. Hes a good producer but im just sick of him, maybe if he does some really creative [fresh] stuff with her, i will be happy.

I hope she just doesn't come up with some really commercial stuff. I hope its more interesting, not just like nelly furtado (although shes great)

I think her look will be sorta like when she is walking in the street in the hung up clip. but with straight hair and fresh colours and cool jackets.

I cannnnt wait!

Anyone think it will be an american life?

I hope not! Lets hope that Madonna's learned from her past mistakes!

As far as her image is concerend, i'm not so sure as what to expect next! I had never imagined that Madonna would go for sparkly leotards for the last CD (i loved that!) so i'm not ruling anything out for the next record!

Maybe hair braids and and a nose stud? Oooh how urban i hear to say! lol :)

Well, I expect the album to be completely different. I'd love to see some rock tracks, I think it'd suit her!!! Not too fussed about the hip-hop direction it seems she could take by working with Timbaland or Pharrell, though.

Well those braids were cool, its an idea but M is reaching 50 so maybe she'll take a pass at that, well maybe not; since when has age ever been a barrier to Madge eh?!
I think, image-wise, she should stick to the classy look she's having now. I love it!

I want a strange combination like:

BEDTIME STORIES + COADF !
