Nirvana - Known for - "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Lithium", "Come As You Are"; but best tracks for me were "All Apologies", "Penny Royal Tea", "Radio-Friendly Unit Shifter", "Endless Nameless" and "Negative Creep"

Evanescence - Known for - "Bring Me To Life", "My Immortal"; best tracks for me are "Snow White Queen", "Going Under", "Whisper" ("Origin" version) and "Cloud Nine".

If this was changed to dreadful overrated songs as their signature tune & unheralded gems then:

Elton John - Candle In The Wind - I hate both versions of this song. I forget which song but 1980s Scouse duo Half Man, Half Biscuit did a song (probably from their Back In the DHSS album) with the lyric "James Dean was just a careless driver & Marilyn Monroe was just a slag" which they changed in the late 1990s to pay tribute to Elton John's new version of CITW to ""Henri Paul was just a careless driver & Princess Diana was just a slag".

Check out some of his album tracks like Where To Now St Petersberg, Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy, Tower Of Babel or I've Seen The Movie Too -hard to believe that the same person also came up with Crocodile Rock or Island Girl.

Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody - Overblown pretentious toss - it leaves me cold wandering if I'm insane or the rest of the Western World is for rating the song amongst the Greatest Of All Time; like most of Queen's output it was a rip off, in this case both Led Zeppelin's Stairway To Heaven & 10cc's Une Nuit In Paris (sung hilariously in 'Allo Allo French accents).

However, Queen have recorded some gems particularly early on like Brighton Rock, In The Lap Of The Gods, Stone Cold Crazy, '39 or the very heartfelt, simplistic & unpretentious (for Queen) Is This The World We Created?

I also strongly dislike from their musical canon Another One Bites The Dust (poor Chic rip-off) & We Will Rock You (why did Roger & Brian have to collaborate with Ben Elton & Five?).

Those are the two glaringly obvious examples that I can think of for now.
