April 3, 200718 yr Author I already have Retroglide, and it's very good. I also have the Greatest Hits. Most people dont like the stuff from around 1989 and will only recommend the early stuff when they were more of a soul/club band. I like the pop stuff as well as the funk stuff
April 3, 200718 yr I like them, they have had great tracks, Hot Water, Running In The Family,. I think you like the Retro forum, best forum to talk about retro acts.

May 14, 200718 yr Bloomin' 'eck! This brings back memories. I used to be quite a huge fan ... I've got World Machine, Running in the Family and Staring at the Sun and I used to have several videos ... including the Fait 'Acomplit (which was very entertaining). I also went to see them twice at the Hammersmith Odeon, once at Crystal Palace (they were on with Squeeze), once at the Royal Court in Liverpool and once at the Prince's Trust Concert in the late 90's at the NEC - that was a great night - Erasure, Tony Hadley, Mike & The Mechanics (well part of them anyway), Swing Out Sister, Mica Paris, Luther Vandross. I even went twice on my holidays to the Isle of Wight and frequented Mark's bar there (on Union Street, Ryde). I didn't stalk mind! They were fabulous live. I think the current line-up is Mark King, Mike Lindup, Gary Husband and Mark's younger brother Nathan King. They're still touring and I'm seriously thinking of going to see them again. Mark King is a wizard on the bass. Kath
