MOVIE beauty Halle Berry is to go bald for her next film, she has revealed.

The Monster's Ball Oscar-winner bared everything else to scoop her 2001 Best Actress award.

But now she has agreed to "do a Britney" and will shave her head for romcom Nappily Ever After.

Singer Britney Spears hit headlines around the world when she was photographed removing her locks earlier this year.

And Halle, 40, admits she is wary of becoming a skinhead like her - even if the role demands it.

She said yesterday: "In the course of the story something bad happens to my character's hair and she shaves it all off.

"I'm scared to death but that's what I must do."

Halle added: "I suppose going bald could be a little exciting too, though, so we'll probably film the process beginning to end."

Nappily Ever After is due to start shooting in the US later this year. It is due for release in 2008.

 Isn't it funny how shaving your head now it's "doing a Britney"
Yeah, I'm sure Britney isn't the first woman to have shaved her head. I'm glad Britney's so popular that she can make different acts popular again. :D

Yupp, that's right. Even though I complained by "rolling eyes" I agree it's quite a compliment as well... this goes on to show how important Britney seems to be for the media in general.

It's pretty easy to see that this will be remembered in more then 20 years! It's uncanny on how it affected pop culture! :o
