"Shut Up" is a song by the American hip hop band Black Eyed Peas. The 2003 single is the second one taken from their 2003 album Elephunk. It is about a disastrous courtship with the chorus consisting of the lines "shut up, just shut up shut up". The song was not released as a single in U.S. due to the success of "Where is the Love?". However, it received massive airplay. However it was #1 in Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden & Switzerland. It made #2 in the UK.

Although I prefer this "cover" version
