"Teardrop" is a song by Massive Attack which was first released on their 1998 album Mezzanine. It was released as a single on April 21, 1998 (UK#10).

The original version of the song features vocals by Elizabeth Fraser (of the Cocteau Twins). It was originally offered to Kate Bush who turned the Bristol-based triphop dance group down. "Teardrop" had a memorable music video which featured animations of a fetus in the womb lip-syncing the song.

Not a bad position for Massive Attack, I really thought it be higher.

"Just a Little" is a UK#1 single by Liberty X, released in 2002. The song debuted at number one when released, selling over 100,000 copies in its first week. It also reached #4 in Australia. Although, none of this success would have occurred had Anastacia not passed on the song.

"I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" was the first single released by Sheffield band the Arctic Monkeys after being signed on Domino Records. Released on 17 October 2005, it rode the wave of popularity behind the band after a series of sellout gigs across the country, culminating with a gig in front of 2,000 people at the London Astoria. It debuted at Number One on the UK Singles Chart on 23 October. The release of the song and its rise to number one further increased the ever-growing hype surrounding the band, and it was two weeks before they reached the cover of NME magazine.

On 23 February 2006, the track won Best Track at the 2006 NME Awards - one of three awards won by the Arctic Monkeys. Sugababes performed their cover version of the song live on the same night.

The lyrics of this song reportedly inspired footballer Peter Crouch's robotic dancing goal celebration in the summer of 2006.

The song discusses the problems break-ups, separation, and divorce can bring on the former couple, and the animosity a woman's mother can have for her daughter's former boyfriend or husband.
