when somebody told me was re released was when i got to really hear it and thats what got me into them and thats when i bought hot fuss
Pretty much like Azro, back in mid 2004 I heard "Mr. Brightside" and I fell in love with it. It wasn't until late 2004 that I bought "Hot Fuss", though and I was so amazed by the album that I became a massive fun, the rest is history.

When I first bought it and played it for the first time I instantly fell in love with "Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine" (the album opener) and "Change Your Mind". "Glamorous Indie Rock 'n' Roll" is not included on the Latin American version of "Hot Fuss", so I didn't listen to that song back then. I heard it for the first time in 2005.

Maybe they thought "Change Your Mind" would suit the Latin American market better?
I liked them a bit for a while before getting Hot Fuss, but it was seeing their performances from Glastonbury and T In The Park that really made me sit up and think, wow they're really good! So I liked them a lot more thanks to them being so great live. B)

That's amazing! I love their performances as well, I think they are terrific live!

DEFINITLY. ^_^ I'd love to go and see them, damn them for being so good that their tickets all sell out in minutes! ;)

Personally I think that people who say they're a boring live band are mad... have they never seen them on TV, at festivals or at The Brits for example??
