Posted April 6, 200718 yr I know it's hard to choose, as none match that of the Smiths but it makes an interesting thread... t.A.t.U - How Soon Is Now? do4NuJMRdbQ Mark Ronson - Stop Me [If You Think You've Heard This One Before] C6ekBbmOcKA
April 6, 200718 yr Not a fan of T.A.T.U but still love their cover of How Soon Is Now? it's my favourite Smiths cover, thanks for the youtube video
April 8, 200718 yr i forgot to add Placebo and The Killers :( lol Forgetting Placebo is pure blasphemy. :( (I was gonna suggest it, but I thought you chose these two covers specifically :P)
April 9, 200718 yr Not overly keen on the TATU cover, although I am surprised because I would have thought it would be rubbish! :D The Mark Ronson cover is excellent, so that gets my vote :elvis:
April 9, 200718 yr Personally I rate the TATU cover as one of the worst cover versions of all-time. Whilst the Mark Ronson cover is a work of god-like genius in comparison.
April 9, 200718 yr By the way my favourite cover of The Smiths would have to be: tajBxGNygQ4 Neil Finn & Friends - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out
April 12, 200718 yr After watching both again, I'm less impressed by the TATU version than at first. Musically, Mark Ronson is far superior.
April 16, 200718 yr You do know that the song How Soon Is Now? was used for the theme of Charmed sung by some unknown artist know as LovespitLove. :P Tatu's version is $h!t. :manson:
April 18, 200718 yr A band called anberlin have just made a cover of there is a light that never goes out with which I was really impressed. I think that it's on their new album or something like that, check it out.
April 29, 200718 yr Or what about this: NqrWjd8kZQs Princess Diana (Spitting Image) - Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now When you consider that Morrissey is an anti-Royalist then this (was) is genius. :D
