OMG! Has anyone heard Darren Hayes' new single "Who Would Have Thought?" - Its the most amazing lead single off an album that i've heard in ages! Surely this is gonna do well in the charts. :yahoo: :dance:

why??? i was so excited about his new stuff. but now he isn't making good pop music. this is purposly for him "i'm an artist" and all that cr@p. this is not commercial. this will not do well. this is bad. not to be offensive but i was really excited for his new stuff but if this is what he's got to offer. noo

He's trying too hard, plus it sounds like something that Daniel Bedingfield would put on his album and we know what happened to his last one.

I really like it. I don't think its the new single though, just a track from the album that isn't out till August.

I like Darren very much - just had a listen - very disappointed :( Listened to Spin earlier on today, by coincidence - what an album!

Thanks for clearing up that this is just on the album, I'm sure I read somewhere it was gonna be the first single but oh well - I don't care, I can't believe not many people like it, the song is like a journey from being trapped, to freedom, and the video is amazing

I don't think it's meant to be commercial. And I don't think he or anyone else is expecting it to 'do well'. I think if doing well means charting high, that doesn't mean much in this day and age anyway.

I love Darren Hayes.....like this one but for me its all about the voice. I just love anyone who is instantly recognisable and hardly anyone else can sing like this bloke...fantastic. I'm seeing him this Thursday and cannot wait to hear his new material, and so looking forward to the new album
