thanks to BC and .net again

Darius is my good pal - he always remembers to send a card at Christmas and we love him here at Clyde 1! He's a perfect gentleman - in fact, he's completely perfect in every way.....all 6'4" of him! He's handsome, kind, extremely talented and utterly gorgeous. We love you Darius!!!!!

That's Suzie McGuire, isn't it? She's the little minx who pulled up D's T-shirt at Live and Loud and then started raving about his abs.

That is so lovely to read. Have only just been able to get on here, couldnt get on all day yesterday and even tried 3 am and couldnt get on. dont know why.

That's Suzie McGuire, isn't it?

Yes I think it is ... at least she tells it as it is - well he's not perfick - but it's nice to see postive comments especially about his talent :D

I wonder if his music gets radio play up there? Does anyone tune in?

I think that they generally stick mainly to their 'current' playlists - but they generally played Darius songs when they were out at the time I think. They might play a track as a result of a request and you can listen online via their website HERE - I'd suggest either George Bowie's Breakfast show - 6-9:00hrs; or Suzie's show usually 12-14:00hrs.

They've also got Darius featured in their Live Sessions on their website HERE page 3. It's Kiss, from the gig at the Oran Mor - personally, I prefer his live acoustic versions of Colourblind and Live Twice from that gig and would rather they'd have chosen one of those. You can listen to those (that gig) on Rachel's site somewhere* - I knew where it was on the old site - not quite sure where it is on the new one though? - shall have to re-find the new links

edit: *just posting to say the Oran Mor gig hasn't gone on the new site yet - don't want peeps trawling about looking for it unnecessarily.

Thanks again SS, you know everything  I have to say, I don't like Kiss, Bootylicious, Faith or Sandy. Sorry to those who do :(

Not everything, but I guess I must have picked up a few things here and there from spending about 5 years stuck to my PC  :P ... I do need to find the location of the Oran Mor gig online though now + lots of other stuff too - now that it's all been moved, I'm lost for finding the links :D

I like Sandy, because I loved that Darius rocked it up and I think he sings it well - but I'm not keen on the song Sandy as a rule really, but I do enjoy a listen to Darius's version of that now and then. I enjoyed Bootylicious, Faith and the Kiss-medley on the Dive In Tour live - but, I never listen to those recorded - I'm not keen on them myself either when just listening to them - they don't sound that great to me. With this Live Sessions thing though on Clyde 1 - I feel it should showcase the artist - I just don't understand why they didn't choose to feature one of his own songs - all, apart from Kiss, were his own songs at that gig!

It does seem strange that!

It does seem strange that!

Strange enough for me to have had to ask why they chose that one ... didn't get an answer though :(

It does make me wonder, who's decision it was and why - but on the otherhand - at least he is on their showcase - I've got very mixed feelings about it though

The Oran Mor gig has been added to Rachel's site now - we can't direct link to the exact location though now but from the main website HERE you will find it under appearances >> radio >> 2004 >> then it's number 24 on the player :D
