'wizzards brew', their album, was utter pants. i was a fan but that album put me off them, it was utterly dire.

True, but most people don't seem to be able to get past the image.

 

Anyway, I prefer the Move when he didn't look quite as ridiculous :D

Yeah, "California Man" is great too. The TOTP appearance was once believed wiped but turned up on TOTP2 a few years ago.

 

Of course the final Move line-up was the same as the first ELO line-up : Roy Wood, Jeff Lynne and Bev Bevan.

California man was a great song,pity it was the move's last release
