Posted April 10, 200718 yr Ex-Sugababe 'never got on with bandmate' Tuesday, April 10 2007, 10:12 BST Digitalspy.com By Nick Levine, Entertainment Reporter Ex-Sugababe Siobhan Donaghy has admitted that she never got on with her former bandmate Keisha Buchanan. However, since she quit the Sugababes in September 2001, Donaghy has stayed in touch with her other former bandmate Mutya Buena, who has since left the popular girl-group as well. Both Donaghy and Buena are preparing to release solo albums this summer. Donaghy told the Metro: "Keisha and I never got on, even from the start, but I was young and went along with the flow. It just got to the point where I realised things would never change and, if I was going to make myself happy, I needed to leave and get on with my life. "I’ve never regretted it and don’t hold any grudges – we were all young. I’ve spoken to Mutya over MySpace and our solo records are coming out at the same time so I’m looking forward to bumping into her on the TV circuit. There were never any problems between the two of us." Any Comments?
April 10, 200718 yr Erm that's a bit sad that they did even not get on... I thought that it was a proper sugababes 'spirit' at that time at least
April 12, 200718 yr Rubbish, it's just the paparazzi that tries to make up the story, before that, it was between Heidi and Mutya, now it's Sioban and Keisha, who's next?? Amelle is angry at Mutya since she doesn't allow Amelle to record her song on GH?? What a pinch of salt? -_-
April 12, 200718 yr I think there's probably some truth in that. I remember at the time my sister telling me that Siobhan left because she didn't get on with Keisha, so it's certainly not a new thing. It's nice that Mutya and Siobhan still talk though :D
April 13, 200718 yr im surprised to read this also looks like some of the stories of group friction are rue after all
April 13, 200718 yr It had already been admitted by Siobhan that she left the band because she felt like she was being bullied I think. I don't understand why papers are still talking about this though as it was a long time ago and people change and both Siobhan and Keisha have their own careers now with a completley different sound. April 13, 200718 yr I think it'd be great for Siobhan to have some solo sucess and I think that 'Don't Give It Up,' will probably be more sucessful than 'Overrated,' but once again I can't see her having huge sucess basing it on how she's currently doing, however I would liked to be proved wrong and see her get into the top 10 with atleast one single from this upcoming album.
April 13, 200718 yr I think Siobhan seems to be an artist who could be more sucessful with her album than singles but I would like 'Don't Give It Up,' to be sucessful. :D
April 15, 200718 yr Ex-Sugababe 'picked on' by Keisha Saturday, April 14 2007, 14:44 BST By Daniel Kilkelly DigitalSpy.co.uk Former Sugababe Siobhan Donaghy has claimed that she was picked on by bandmate Keisha Buchanan. The 22-year-old singer admitted that her time in the group was "traumatic", resulting in her decision to quit in 2001. Donaghy did not speak to either of her fellow band members for years, but she recently contacted Mutya Buena to wish her luck on her forthcoming solo album. "I got picked on by Keisha Buchanan when I was in the band," Siobhan told the Daily Star. "It was such a traumatic time for me that I didn't want to revisit it in any way, but I think enough time has passed now. "I spoke to Mutya the other day in fact and wished her good luck. She's invited me over to her place to see her new daughter, so I'll do that when I'm a little less busy. There's no bad blood between us any more."
