Posted April 12, 200718 yr Whilst last year had amazing songs from Carola, Kate Ryan etc this year the songs are very poor with the likes of the hideous Scooch and that Denmark song with the only decent songs being from Hanna Pakarinen, Serebro and Olivia Lewis, with some ok songs from people like Gerli Partner and the song from the netherlands but thats it tbh. If the UK would of sent out a decent singer/group this year we would of had a chance but we send out possibly one of the worst of the lot. Edited April 12, 200718 yr by Conor
April 12, 200718 yr I would disagree, I think this year has a lot of very good offerings, I would agree that there aren't as many stand-out amazing tracks as there were last year, however, I reckon this year has more good songs overall - I can think of about 25 good songs this year, last year I could only honestly think of about 15 good songs ^_^
April 12, 200718 yr Nah there are loads of good songs this year Conor. Though initially I wasn't as impressed as I was last year.
April 12, 200718 yr I think it's a love / hate year. There are alot of good songs, and I love the fact that it's the biggest mix of styles ever. I suppose a big part of how much you like the songs depends on which of the styles you like. If you're into Kate Ryan / Anna Vissi / Carola style songs, then it's understandable that you're disappointed, as there isn't that many of that kind this year. This year depends on taste more than ever I'd say.
April 13, 200718 yr I'm fairly satisfied :-) There are some GREAT songs and some atrocious songs but that's always the same...11 of them have already graced my top 40!
May 3, 200718 yr some good songs tghis year but not as many as last year,i still think they have destroyed the voting system bring back the calling of all points
May 3, 200718 yr Jordan should of been in it instead of Javine ya know :( You're kidding right.....? Jordan's 'contribution' to British music is probably even worse than Daz Sampson's..... That piece of sh!t she did with Peter Andre...? Please.... -_-
